The Settlers I History Edition

  • Fixed an issue with scrolling in coop games either playing the same territory or two different territories
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to scroll in the mini map

The Settlers II History Edition

  • Adjusted the mission 9 campaign text to avoid potential confusion

  • Added the option to use original “The Settlers III” scrolling via the config menu

The Settlers IV History Edition

  • Added the missing “Thumbs Up” logo / icon
  • Added a notification message when the “Fisherman’s Hut” has no more fish in his working area
  • Adjusted the position where wounded units would be healed at Healer’s Quarters for the Trojan race
    • It could happen that wounded units would not be healed when moving up to the Trojan Healer’s Quarters.
  • Fixed an issue where the color white was not correctly displayed on the mini map if you had an 8-player match
  • Fixed an issue with the map editor
  • Fixed an issue where the custom logo / icon the players chooses in the beginning of the map was not reflected correctly in the game
  • Fixed an issue that caused a stone deposit to be not usable in certain conditions

  • Improved the text scaling while using different resolutions

  • Fixed an issue with in-game coin rewards

[TSHC] Changelog 12. June

The Settlers I History Edition

  • Fixed an issue where the game would crash after campaign mission 30
    • It will now play the outro correctly

The Settlers II History Edition

  • Added various missing sound-effects
  • DE only: Fixed an issue where the winning text was missing after campaign mission 9

The Settlers III History Edition

  • Adjusted the “moving behavior” when clicking on a position on the mini map
    • It does not scroll to the position anymore
  • Fixed an issue with the forest fire being too loud or distorted
  • Fixed an issue where units move order was given by scrolling on the map
  • Fixed an issue which made it not possible to completely zoom in at the northern map border
  • Fixed an issue where thieves did not take any damage from bowmen’s after being discovered
  • DE only: Fixed an issue the that wrong video was shown after finishing Egypt campaign mission 4
  • Added the option to set private or public multiplayer matches via the config menu

The Settlers IV History Edition

  • Fixed an issue that various goods from the Trojan race were not correctly displayed in the UI goods overview
  • Fixed an issue where military units would not occupy / enter a building when loading a save game

[TSHC] Multiplayer Lobbies live

We’re extremely happy to announce that from today on The Settlers 3 to 7 History Edition all feature a multiplayer lobby, where you can look for and join public multiplayer games.

One major point that was mentioned since the release of the History Editions was that having to invite players for multiplayer matches is too complicated and too time-consuming.

While you can of course still play private matches with friends, the games now feature a list of public multiplayer games which you can join with just a click.

We want to thank you for your continuous feedback and specifically all the players who tested the lobbies over the last few weeks, making sure everything is running smoothly.

We wish all of you successful and exciting multiplayer matches!

[TSHC] TS4HE & TS7HE Multiplayer lobby +TS3HE Changelog

After we released the multiplayer lobby for The Settlers 3 last week, we are happy to announce that we just enabled the lobby for The Settlers 4 & The Settlers 7 History Edition.

Every multiplayer game created will appear in the overview and as long as open slots are available, other players will be able to join.

If there are public multiplayer games still looking for additional players, they will appear in the list before you create one. You can simply click on the name and join.
Do you want to give your game a specific name? Make sure to adjust it, maybe add your game conditions in the title like peacetime or any other specifics.

Additionally, we deployed a small patch for The Settlers 3 History Edition:

  • Limited the characters that can be used in the game name field to ASCII
  • Fixed an issue where map names where cycling through in the lobby overview

If you want to help us test the lobbies for The Settlers 5 or 6 History Edition before they go live, feel free to do so by following this small guide:

  1. Choose the game from your library and click on “properties”
  2. In the category “game version” click on “unlock a test version” and enter this code:
    1. The Settlers 5 History Edition: “TheSettlers5LobbyTest”
    2. The Settlers 6 History Edition: “TheSettlers6LobbyTest”
  3. You will now be able to select “Lobby Test” as alternative version – this one is connected to the lobby server.
  4. Once the test version files are downloaded, please restart Uplay PC to ensure all files are updated correctly

[TSHC] TS3HE – Multiplayer lobby is live

After our announcement last week that we are going to test the lobbies for the various The Settlers History Edition games, we are happy to release the lobby for The Settlers 3 History Edition today for everyone. The test helped us to gather valuable and important feedback.

Thanks to your suggestions, we already adjusted the setting that all multiplayer games will be public from the beginning. You can of course still click the “private” button if you just want to play with your friends.

If there are public multiplayer games still looking for additional players, they will appear in the list before you create one. You can simply click on the name and join.

[TSHC] Annuncio della Sala d’attesa

Ciao a tutti,

è il momento per un altro piccolo aggiornamento della community.

Come avete visto, abbiamo iniziato l’anno con molte informazioni sui nuovi The Settlers, come le meccaniche dei miglioramenti e l’espansione del territorio, cose che molti di voi hanno chiesto negli ultimi mesi, ma oggi abbiamo un annuncio speciale per voi.

La scorsa settimana abbiamo pubblicato una grossa patch per le History Edition volta a risolvere vari problemi, e continueremo a rilasciarne altre nelle prossime settimane. In questa patch è inclusa anche una cosa che in tanti ci chiedete da molto tempo: le sale d’attesa multigiocatore!

La nostra squadra è stata occupata a preparare tutto dietro le quinte, ma prima di rendere questa funzione disponibile a tutti, vorremmo assicurarci che funzioni senza intoppi. Per questo, chiediamo il vostro aiuto e l’esperienza della community multigiocatore:

Se volete provare le sale d’attesa multigiocatore alla ricerca di eventuali bug o problemi, ora potete sbloccare una versione di prova del gioco in Uplay seguendo questi passaggi:

  1. Selezionate il gioco nella vostra libreria e cliccate su “Proprietà”
  2. Nella categoria “Versione del gioco” cliccate su “Sblocca una versione di prova” e inserite questo codice:
    1. The Settlers 3 History Edition: “TheSettlers3LobbyTest”
    2. The Settlers 4 History Edition: “TheSettlers4LobbyTest”
  3. Ora potete selezionare “Lobby Test” come versione alternativa, collegata al server della sala d’attesa.
  4. Una volta che i file di test saranno stati scaricati, assicuratevi di riavviare Uplay PC per assicurarvi che tutti i file siano applicati correttamente.

Ovviamente potrete tornare alla versione live in qualunque momento, ma assicuratevi di riavviare Uplay PC dopo averlo fatto.

  • Fixed an issue where campaign maps save games are saved with an English name and not via the language selected in the config menu

The Settlers III History Edition

  • Config menu will now start after installing the game
  • Implemented Map Editor
    • The Map Editor is now accessible via Uplay -> The Settlers III -> Play
  • Added a 5 minute auto save timer via the config menu
  • Fixed an issue where it could lead to empty lobbies
    • After loading a multiplayer save game and inviting others, it could lead to empty lobbies / matches. This issue should now be fixed.

The Settlers IV History Edition

  • Config menu will now start after installing the game
  • Added a 5 minute auto save timer via the config menu
  • Added 10 auto save game slots for multiplayer matches
    • The auto save will cycle through; beginning from A to H. If H is reached it will start from the beginning and therefore overwrite A.
  • Fixed various typos in the campaign mission texts

The Settlers Heritage of Kings History Edition

  • Increased the maximum distance for the camera
  • Steam: Fixed an issue where Multiplayer was not available in the “Expansion Disc” and “Legends Expansion”

The Settlers VII Paths to a Kingdom History Edition

  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to access Club rewards while in Offline mode
  • Fixed an issue where the wrong resolution was used in-game
    • If the issue is still present, please delete the “Options.ini” file in the /Documents/The Settlers 7 – History Edition folder

The Settlers IV History Edition

  • Fixed some causes for Fatal Error to happen and the game to crash. (We are still working on improving and fixing other various issues related to this topic.)
  • Fixed an issue where the “Maya music” would not start after a fight / combat situation

The Settlers Heritage of Kings History Edition

  • Fixed several localization issues in German language
  • Fixed an issue where a farmer spawned at the village center to work as a barkeeper. It will now spawn the appropriate unit

The Settlers VII Paths to a Kingdom History Edition

  • Added missing Club Rewards localization for several languages
  • Fixed an issue where the game would de-synchronize when creating a multiplayer game with “co-op mode” applied
  • Fixed an issue where the window “Achievement unlocked” would pop up several times
